Many people tend to say: We are all children of God! However, this is somewhat comfortable, enjoyable or perhaps incorrect.
If God is a good Father, you can have protection, security, housing, food, and may even think of an inheritance. And, who knows, an eternal life full of happiness after death!
But it is not only the Father who has responsibilities to his children. The children also have obligations to the Father. In the relationship of father and son or daughter, in addition to the duties, privileges also exist. The problem is that we are always thinking about the privileges and do not like to think about duties.
If God is our Father, everything is fine. We give him all the benefits and all possible favors, but in our prayers, we are always asking, asking, asking. How about our duties and responsibilities?
In the Bible, God says: “A son honors his father and a servant his master. If then I am a father, where is my honor? And if I am a master, where is my fear?
The child should reflect the character of the father. Think about this before you go out there, saying, “I am a son of God.” Really, are you sure?
