Authority Jesus Final

Today’s Reading: 1 Corinthians 2:9-11, Matthew 11:27 Version NIV
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+Corinthians+2%3A9-11%2C+Matthew+11%3A27&version=NIV

Speaking about the mysteries of God’s revelation to us, theologian, author and American pastor Robert Charles Sproul says: “There are many truths that God reveals to us about Himself that are beyond our capacity to understand. Given the difference between the exalted character of God and our status as created beings, this difficulty should not surprise us. We may come to greater understanding of many of these mysterious truths at some future point in redemptive history. However, even then we may never fully understand some truths.” [Sproul, R. C. (2011). What Is the Trinity? (Vol. 10, pp. 55–56). Orlando, FL: Reformation Trust.]

We do not have an intellectual, moral, or supernatural ability to know God. However, God is revealed to us. He, on his own free will lets us know a little of what He is, who He is and what He wants from us. Still, we do not know God well. Insecurity takes the place of tranquility, distrust the place of faith and despair the place of serenity.

When we learn about God’s authority, we conclude that He directs all things. Nothing escapes his knowledge, and could not be otherwise: the fate of your life is in God’s hands, nothing will happen by chance!

Let uncertainties in the hands of God. He and only He can guarantee peace, tranquility and security. To approach God, we need to take a small step: a step of faith.

Believe and rest! God exists and cares for your life! He will be with you all the way!

The true disciple of Christ lives to serve.

In God's Hands
Today’s Reading:  John 10:28-29, Isaiah 49:15-16, Isaiah 62:3 Version NIV
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+10%3A28-29%2C+Isaiah+49%3A15-16%2C+Isaiah+62%3A3&version=NIV

Men let themselves be led by appearances, but God sees and knows the heart. He sees the real reasons why we fight and live. God knows our intentions and does not forsake us in our desire to see his love and forgiveness take over the world.

Every time we stand at the service of good, great and wonderful things happen in our lives. The first is the interior restoration; the second, total contempt for earthly things; and third, a deep and genuine feeling of respect and worship to God.

Every morning, God gives us a new chance to live. According to his divine providence, we are located where we can apply his will, carry out good deeds and spread his love. This is the life that gives us meaning, meaning not by appearance, but by security, not of anxiety but of a hopeful future.

God is watching us and is moved by those who show confidence to leave all our future in his hands. In whose hands is your future?

Jesus is the Way - a
Today’s Reading:  John 14:6 Version CEV
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+14%3A6&version=CEV

Jesus is the door of salvation, the door that opens to the re-encounter of the human being with the eternal God. But how can anyone, confused, tired and destroyed from within, find that door? Jesus is the way by which men, women and children find direction for their steps.

If Jesus is the door where we come in and out and find food for our souls, we will understand that life is freedom, security and livelihood. Likewise, if Jesus is the way, He did not merely lead us to the door, but also shows us the way we have to go, the course, the direction, the goals we have in life. It is not an inner struggle of our conscience, whether we are, or not, pleasing to God; a constant concern of being in the wrong path. If we use the path or the way that Jesus represents, we will be able to admire the flowers at the roadside.

The question is only one: Are we? If we are on the way, the direction has been defined already; we know within ourselves what lies ahead.

Let us say with gratitude: “How unhappy would it be to live aimlessly, Lord! You are the door that opens to the way, the path that extends before us that guide our steps. Amen!”

I Am A Father
Today’s Reading: Malachi 1:6 Version ESV
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Malachi+1%3A6&version=ESV

Many people tend to say: We are all children of God! However, this is somewhat comfortable, enjoyable or perhaps incorrect.

If God is a good Father, you can have protection, security, housing, food, and may even think of an inheritance. And, who knows, an eternal life full of happiness after death!

But it is not only the Father who has responsibilities to his children. The children also have obligations to the Father. In the relationship of father and son or daughter, in addition to the duties, privileges also exist. The problem is that we are always thinking about the privileges and do not like to think about duties.

If God is our Father, everything is fine. We give him all the benefits and all possible favors, but in our prayers, we are always asking, asking, asking. How about our duties and responsibilities?

In the Bible, God says: “A son honors his father and a servant his master. If then I am a father, where is my honor? And if I am a master, where is my fear?

The child should reflect the character of the father. Think about this before you go out there, saying, “I am a son of God.” Really, are you sure?

God, loneliness, presence, security, separation, with us

God with Us
Today’s Reading: Psalm 63:8
God made us social beings; to live in the company of family and friends. However, not all like to live in such an environment. When a separation occurs, either a friend or relative, we can feel an immense solitude.

The world is full of lonely people. Those who have been separated by divorce or death are well aware of what is loneliness. Others feel lonely despite being surrounded by crowds.

Missionaries working in remote locations know about loneliness. People who work in counseling centers are dedicated to receive countless calls from people who feel lonely and have no one to talk to. Our Lord Jesus Christ also experienced isolation in the desert and on the cross, saying, “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46).

We are children of God and we must not forget that in our solitude, He will never depart from us. Remember the words of David: “My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholds me.”

These words bring us security. In our loneliness, our alienation, God is with us, filling our lives with your presence and your love. When you are alone, remember the words of the poet: “God dwells with me!”

What Children Need Most

children 3
You need to always be doing an assessment of your life. Your family, especially your children, need you now when they are growing. Children who spend the whole day without the affectionate presence of their parents, without feeling the security that your authority represent, without physical contact with them, without your spiritual warmth, have the potential of ending with all forms of imbalances.

Without the presence of their parents, what advantage will they draw in the future just because you provided them with a good school, a nice house or a nice car? If their lives are disrupted by psychological crises, fighting and insecurity at home, all the material goods that they can enjoy will be of little value in their lives and their emotional state.

What children need most, time, love, understanding, discipline, you can give now. Just some dedication, time and a lot of love for them will do. Rest assured that the investment represented by these intangibles will mean for them, the difference between success and failure.
