To Live -1
Today’s Reading: Philippians+1:21-26 Version CEV
In the times we are living, everything is limited: money, food, friends, loyalty, honesty, sincerity, kindness.

We are going through a time when everything comes out of the pocket, passes through the dining room table and barely touches the heart. Everybody demands something in life!

There are a lot of unhappy people, balancing life on a tight rope, trying to survive. All these people are changing sweat for food; work for the right to live. Is this perhaps life? Then, to live is not so easy. Life is a constant struggle where to win is just to stay the same, to participate. We should not be discouraged by the difficulties or back up away from obstacles.

In order for us to overcome life problems we need energy, security and trust in God. That is the only way to prevail, to face life. Life is like a river of clear and pure water that feeds foliage around our garden. To live is to have something inside, it is to be filled with the Spirit of God. To live is to have Jesus in your heart!

concerned
Today’s Reading: Philippians 4:6-7
In the times we live in, no one is free from concerns. Small or large, every person has their own. There are people who, because of these concerns have horrible headaches and spend days and nights without sleep. They spend time exaggerating the value of things that are not always as large or as important as they think.

Knowing how to live in peace is an art. And to be clear and clear-headed, despite the concerns, is a gift. A gift from God.

The God who created us knows all our problems and weaknesses. Then there is nothing more fair than to ask Him to help us carry the heavy burden of our concerns and worry. It is God himself who recommended us this, when he says in the Bible. “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”

After all, who better than God to relieve our hearts when we are overwhelmed by life’s anxieties?

Let us trust Him, and He will take care and erase our concerns.

Justice Is Better Than The Ritual

Justice or Ritual
Today’s Reading: Mathew 5:6
Justice is more pleasing to God than a religious ritual, because justice is one aspect of the character of God. So when injustice prevails, God’s name is desecrated.

Who is the son of God; he is the son of justice. And if the “sons of justice” didn’t take care of the compliance of justice where they live and act, justice will increase its scope of action. Our lives should be guided by normal and known integrity and a sense of justice; and more than that, a burning desire of justice. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

Hunger and thirst for justice is not being “righteous” but to live every day under God’s principles and contribute to live under those principles that are around us. The child of God does not take justice into his own hands, but trusts in God and wait for His decision.

To trust God, who judges wisely, is not staying with arms crossed. We live according to the will of God and reject oppression, torture, violence, outrage, inequality, prejudice and other forms of injustice.

If in fact God’s justice reaches us through Christ, we will reflect in a natural way, by our conduct, the righteousness that God requires of man.

Transplant-1
Today’s Reading: Ezekiel 36:26-28
For years now, Christian Bernard performed the first heart transplant. Today, in many hospitals worldwide, transplants, and not only heart, are performed in a routine manner.

Corneas, kidneys, pancreas, lungs, etc. are transplanted. The techniques have advanced, greatly reducing the rate of rejection of transplanted organs. The biggest problem is, therefore, to find donors. Medicine has advanced, but we must remember that technology and resources have their limits.

We should not be too excited. Only trust in God can give us some hope in the tragedies of life. Yes, God; The One who makes the most spectacular heart transplant in history, according to the promise in the Bible: “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.” This heart will not ensure only a few years of life, but eternal life. And something else, you need not wait in line for an organ donation, not worry about the price of the surgery: It’s been already paid by Jesus Christ.
